Hello Beauty and Gents! I’m Carlos Roman aka Charlie Stylez.

 

Native from “La Isla del Encanto” Puerto Rico! As a Gay Latino, I am a huge member in both communities.

In life we live better to live together. Surrounding myself with great energy. I am creative, versatile and passionate about my hair, especially color, cutting, & extensions.

I stay inspired from bombshell looks around the world. New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Milan, Madrid, etc. Anywhere beauty was present I keep an eye out for new visions. 

My style can range from boho lived-in chic to runway avant garde. 

I continue to always be on top of new trends and educating myself in the masters of my craft. With 20 years of industry experience, I have elevated, as a Hairstylist, Educator, Platform Artist and Fashion Week Beauty Director.

I was more recognized as Charlie Stylez through my work on the reality competition show, “Global Beauty Masters” which aired on TLC.

I adopted an impressive skill set of being able to incorporate various techniques to craft the most beautiful hairstyles that play to each individuals’ unique needs. It allows me to flawlessly orchestrate a look that will best suit the needs of my guests and stay in tune with their vision. 

When Im not at the salon I spend a lot of my free time with family and friends as they mean the world to me, along with my french bull dog, Baby Charlie. You can catch me on a random river kayaking, cooking or wandering, sight seeing all the beauties of the city. A little goofy, a little alternative but all love! Smile, it’s a beautiful thing
